We will start our trail at Girona Pyrenees, where we can enjoy the beautiful mountainous landscapes, and will enter into the leafy forests of Garrotxa. It has a quite mild climate; therefore we pass the landscapes of Empurd\u00e0, former the ground of wine and olive grove. At this point, we arrive to the beach where we can behold the beauty of the coast and spend some time there enjoying the Mediterranean ambience.<\/p>\n<p>The gastronomical variety of our country is guaranteed, as we offer Pyrenean veal with fish and seafood at the Costa Brava all marinated as usual, accompanied by some very great vines in every meal.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #0e3084;\">&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"color: #0e3084;\">STAGES<\/h3>\n<p><strong>DAY 1. ARRIVAL. WELCOME TO L&#8217;ABELLA<\/strong><br \/>\nYou will arrive to L\u2019Abella on the Pyrenees, a typical and small Catalan village in the middle of the mountains with stone houses. Before dinner, we will go over the week&#8217;s program. You will be told about the special characteristics of our Andalucian trail horses. You will be given an introduction to the week\u00b4s programme with an opportunity for a one-to-one conversation designed to find every rider their perfect horse. Then, you can enjoy a fantastic dinner!<\/p>\n<p><strong>DAY 2. FROM THE PYRENEES<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>6-8 hours riding<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We will meet at 8 am for breakfast and to prepare the trail.<\/p>\n<p>The trail will start from Abella going into the Pyrenean direction to Salarsa valley characterized with large-scale landscapes and plenty centenarian oaks. We ride long gallops through beech forests, meadows carpeted in wild flowers. Here we go onto spectacular mountain plateaus, where the views are immense and the terrain is good for galloping. On a good day you can see kilometres of coast,<\/p>\n<p>In the evening, we will arrive in the village of Oix, another charming mountain village with a magnificent castle, narrow winding streets and lovely cafes. Once arrived in Oix we will accommodate in a rural house.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DAY 3. UP TO THE HIGHEST PEAKS<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>6-8 hours riding<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Today we saddle up and ride out through the mountains. During the morning we pass through the scented oak forests above beautiful ravines that so characterise this mountainous region known as the Alta Garrotxa. We arrive to Pont de la Muga, a roman village, where we will cross the river Llerca through a marvellous Romanesque bridge. We are going to continue climbing up until we get to Sadernas lake. Once arrived, we take a track to reach a small lake where you can take a refreshing bath (without horses). Before lunch we lead our horses along a winding forest track. We will lunch at 1.200m altitude on the fairground of Bassegoda.<\/p>\n<p>After lunch, we ride through the ancient medieval village of Sant LLorenc de la Muga with its castle in the background. We continue until arriving to Alba\u00f1a, where we will rest at a rural majestic tourism place in the valley.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DAY 4. SWIMMING WITH HORSES<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>6-7 hours riding<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A day of lively riding and excitement, because we are going to swim with the horses in a lake. An unforgettable experience!<\/p>\n<p>Meeting for breakfast and preparing the route will be as usual. We will leave Alba\u00f1\u00e1 and go down along the Muga river. We will stop at Boadella lake surrounded by a breathtaking mountainous scenery, for a refreshing swim with the horses. Always a pleasure for both people and horses!<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards we get back to our route, this time we cross the GR2 with its typical landscape of Alt Empord\u00e0 full of vineyards and olive groves as well as the vegetation of Albera Natural Park. This natural area is perfect to observe the pass from the mountain range to the Mediterranean metamorphous rocks made of schist and clay shale, both of those essences grow in a special terrain.<\/p>\n<p>Before arriving to Peralada, we pass through various vegetation of cork oaks, durmasts, chestnut trees, oaks and also beech trees, and the pine forest, while we are reaching Peralada we have dinner In front of Casino which located in a Medieval Castle, with his fortress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DAY 5. L&#8217;ALVERA AND COASTAL VINEYARDS<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>6-8 hours riding<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Today we leave the mountains and ride through the Alvera wine growing region, olive groves and vineyards, intense natural beauty.<\/p>\n<p>From Peralada we will ride to the sea you can notice that the vegetation of the mountains has finished, while a new landscape of cork oaks, bushes and coppices appear. We have the picnic at the top of the mountain with nice views over the Mediterranean sea.<\/p>\n<p>After the picnic, it\u2019s time to do some nice gallops and trots through the natural park of Alvera. Our destination today is the villagePort de la Selva, famous village from Costa Brava, in front of the sea. Here we will settle the horses and we can go for a walk around the beautiful coast village<\/p>\n<p><strong>DAY 6. CAP DE CREUS! <\/strong><br \/>\n<em>6-7 hours riding<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Today, we will ride out Port de la Selva to the Cap de Creus peninsula and the sea. We are going to ride up to Sant Pere de Rodes, an ancient romanesque monastery, from where we have an incredible view over the sea of Cap de Creus and Alt Empord\u00e0 with the Bay of Rosas and Port de la Selva.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards we start a descent on foot until we arrive at Selva de Mar where we will have a lunch break. After lunch, we will continue with a long gallop along the Cap the Creus. This peninsula of sculptured rock full of flowering shrubs shows a truly lunar landscape. This is Salvador Dal\u00ed&#8217;s country; this area inspired many of his paintings. We lead our horses down to Talavera Bay, a smugglers cove and a fantastic beach, where we can have a swim and do some sunbathing. Following a lovely afternoon at the the beach, we ride on to the ridge above the village of Cadaqu\u00e9s. The effects of the tramontane give us the opportunity to watch diverse forms of erosion, which converts the landscape in a special, formed one. Finally, we arrive to Cadaqu\u00e9s, by horse to a hotel located in front of the beach.<\/p>\n<p>Once arrived, we will have some free time for visiting this touristic town, until dinner time, and later we might be able to enjoy the bohemian night of Cadaqu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DAY 7. It is a trail that crosses great valleys and goes up to the peaks. You will enjoy the Pyrenean scenery with its alpine areas, deep valleys, rocky reliefs where it will seem like if you had landed on the moon, and spectacular heights from where you will have a wonderful view above the mountains. A nature spectacle!<\/p>\n<p>This route is adequate for experienced riders, used to walk on the mountains, because there are some path that it is required. The journey begins <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4-6 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After an early start from l\u2019Abella, we begin to climb up to the 3 peaks that will give us a first&nbsp; sight of the amazing mountain range crossing Puig Billici, Puig Cerver\u00ed and Black Stone Peak to descends to Querals by crossing several rivers and Vall de Nuria Valley.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 3. Up to the highest peaks and The Great Valley of the Pyrenees&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4-6 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today we will meet for breakfast and for preparing our trail very early.<\/p>\n<p>During this day, we are going to ride through an spectacular high mountain landscape, with peaks of 2600m and 2800m.. After lunch, we climb up to the Pic de l\u2019Infern from where we can admire the beautiful lakes of Caran\u00e7a and the valley of Coma de Vaca. Our next step is Nou Creus peak, located in an altitude 2800m, our highest peak in this trail. Descend will be crossing&nbsp; Tossa\u2019s neck to reach la Molina where we will overnight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 4. Natural Park Cad\u00ed-Moixer\u00f3 and Sanctuary of Falg\u00e0s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will begin this day by riding across spectacular valleys with the outstanding views of the Cad\u00ed Moixer\u00f2 Peaks like Pedraforca, and crossing mountain villages still charming as the first day. The Concret train and Museum and La Pobla del L\u2019Illet village will lead us after crossing LLobregat River to the Sactuary of Our lady of Falg\u00e0s to overnight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 5. Catllar\u00e0s Range and Avinyonet to Gombr\u00e9n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today, we will have a relaxing day with fast gallops and canters, going to ride across Catller\u00e0s Mountain Range to reach Palomera\u2019s neck and reach the Pinyana range to the village of Gombr\u00e9n were we will overnight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 6. The Ribes Valley and Back to the mountain of Ripoll<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5-6 hours <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two great mountain Valleys, from the Ribes Valley we will be going to the Ripoll mountains in the Pre Pyrenees mountain range once again an impressive valley crossed by rivers, pine trees forest and Cattle and Montgrony range . We will be crossing the fields and pay attention, a few deer\u2019s might come across\u2026 we will reach El Baell neighbourhood where will overnight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 7.Back to l\u2019Abella Serra Cavallera<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5-6 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today is our last riding day, we are going back to finish our loop to L\u2019Abella by crossing Serra Cavallera mountains and with views over la Llagona lakes at the Gorgs Plain and with viws over Camrpod\u00f3n Valley . You will be given an introduction to the weekend programme with an opportunity for a one-to-one conversation designed to find every rider their perfect horse. Then, you can enjoy a fantastic dinner!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2. L\u2019Albera and coastal vineyards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6-8 hours riding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today we leave the mountains and ride through the Albera and the coastal area of Costa Brava towards the sea. From Peralada we will head to Llan\u00e7\u00e0, a nice little historical village built close to the sea but quite hidden inland so it was easier for the inhabitants to protect themselves back in the 9<sup>th<\/sup> century! The medieval ages church and tower are the two characteristic monuments to be seen anywhere from the village.<\/p>\n<p>Our hotel is in the old city centre and a nice 20-minute stroll to the beach. Llan\u00e7\u00e0 has the great amount of 23 beaches so you will sure find one you will love \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Dinner and accommodation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 3. To the sea!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6-7 hours riding <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today, we will ride out of Llan\u00e7a in order to take our horses to a cute little bay where to enjoy a nice swim with the horses in an amazing landscape. Then, you can enjoy a fantastic dinner!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dia 2- From l\u2019Abella to Pardines, 6 hours, 30 km <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This trail has different landscapes, from wide plains where we will find wild horses and cows, we are going to go inside the forest where we can do some gallops.<\/p>\n<p>We start from l\u2019Abella 1240m high through Bac de l\u2019Abella, crossing Serra Cavallera. We will arrive to the end of la Vall de Camprodon and we continue up to Vall de Ribes, in Coll del Pal where we can see Puigmal, la Molina, Colada de Tosses, el Taga. In this point we are at 1500m high and we continue throw el Bac de Pardinas and el Taga at 1950m high<\/p>\n<p>We will go down to Pardines camping&nbsp; 1300m high at 14\u201930h- In this point we will lunch in a familiar restaurant, with a traditional mountain meal. You can be ready for take a bath in the swimming pool!<\/p>\n<p>At 16\u201900\u2019h we will come back across the forest way to Collada Verda, we come back to Vall de Camprodon, we will sea the mountain lodge Pla de Salla,&nbsp; where the farmers took care of theirs cows. We continue up to Roques Blanques where we can see Abella, la Roca, Llanars and Camprodon.<\/p>\n<p>We start the descence to the hipica<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>DAY 3. FROM L\u2019ABELLA TO TREGUR\u00c0. <\/u><\/strong><strong><u>6 hours, 30 km<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A trail with pas and trote. In the maximum high at 1950m we will find a big road where we can gallop<\/p>\n<p>In this trail we will see all Camprodon\u2019s Valley<\/p>\n<p>We are going to ride up la Solana d\u2019Abella crossing Roques Blancas. At this point we begin to ride across the trees and fields where we will reach the highest peak of the day &nbsp;1950m<\/p>\n<p>We are at Pel de Ca if the day is sunny we can see Montserrat Mountain\u2019s. We will cross a big field on the road to Tregura to Pardines<\/p>\n<p>We continue up to la Sierra de la Ca\u00f1a where we can see&nbsp; Queralbs, Vall de N\u00faria, Ribes de Freser, Tregur\u00e0, Llanars, Camprod\u00f3n. &nbsp;In this point we can enjoy a Panoramic view.&nbsp; We continue up to Tres Pics . In this point we can see Coma de Vaca, where the animals feed on summer. And we will descent to Tregur\u00e1. We will cross El Castell dels Moros ( moor\u2019s castle) where we can see Setcases village, and continue downhill&nbsp; to Tregur\u00e0 where we&nbsp; are going stop for lunch in a restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>After luch we are going to continue downhill to Vilallonga de Ter, from this point we will continue up to l\u2019Abella.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>DAY 4- AROUND SERRA CAVALLERA, 4 hours, 20 km<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Riding across wild horses and cattle<\/p>\n<p>This trail give us an spectacular views of Ripolles Mountains<\/p>\n<p>We start in l\u2019Abella riding up acroos pastures where we will ride between wild horses and cattle.
